ICT as Medium for Advocacy

 

 1. How Information and Communication and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior High School.

 ICT in education promotes student engagement and knowledge retention: Students become more engaged in their work when ICT is integrated into lessons. This is due to the fact that technology allows for many ways to make it more engaging and entertaining to teach the same subjects in different ways.

Our education has undergone a significant transition as a result of advances in information, communication, and technology. My education was dependent on books while I was in elementary school; we spent hours in libraries going through books for projects and assignments. And now that I'm in senior high, ICT has had a significant impact on our education; we now place a greater emphasis on multimedia, much as teachers use technology during discussions.

          2. Consider the following for comparison

I recall that instead of printing or simply taking images, we used to write lectures. We form a line during the flag ceremony, with a teacher in front. Today, some students are simply watching videos on the internet, which they will afterwards project. Prior until now, in terms of concept notes we use to write lectures but today we can finish it in just one click because we can take pictures. In terms of visual aids when I am grade school our teachers write something on a manila paper or illustration board and present it to the class. As time pass by they print it and then show us today they use power point presentation to present the lesson. In terms of class records before it was in a record book but today grades are now in Microsoft excel. I remember when we are in grade school we'll know its dismissal if we heard a sound from flag pole but today some school use speaker or bell and one ring students will know that it is dismissal time. In terms of doing assignment and research back then we are library and it takes time to find some information and there's a time limit because the school may close but today answers are just one click away, we can search it through google and watch some related videos online. There are some apps such as brainly, photo math etc. that some students use when they are doing some home works. If there is a change there's a chance students now a days are bless because they have a chance to to do their work easily . Change is constant and we dont have a choice we just have to embrace it but we must not forget so we wont regret.
